Overview
This case series, labeled A through D, UVA-PHA-0018, UVA-PHA-0019, UVA-PHA-0020, and UVA-PHA-0023, allows the reader to see three vignettes as handled by two different instructors. This C case describes how Rick Hartman handled the recalcitrant student in the B case and ends with Rick deciding to sit in on the next class (there were two classes conducted back to back each night of school) to see how his colleague was going to handle the student who had caused so much difficulty in his class.
