Overview
This case provides a multivariable scheduling problem in the health-care industry. A hospital renal-dialysis unit has a limited capacity of beds, machines, and staff and currently cannot meet demand. The student is asked to define the service package, improve the current schedule, and make recommendations on changing constraining variables to increase capacity.
